Roy Davis, founder of Zome Accountants, has been a dedicated audit and client partner for Architectural Practices since 1990. With a specialisation in the unique challenges of small to medium-sized firms, Roy provides comprehensive services including annual accounts, tax returns, compliance, and management accounts.

Roy’s current role is advising clients & managing and co-ordinating the Zome team. He is the responsible individual for Audit assignments.

Michael has nearly thirty-years’ experience in the financial management of professional services firms up to Group finance Director.

He now specialises in assisting companies with their succession planning including Employee Ownership Trusts (EOT), growth shares and management buy outs.

He also advises on how to run businesses more profitably and reviews their financial processes against best practice.

Michael advises the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) on EOT’s and has given many seminars and papers on what EOT’s are and how they work in practice. He also sits on several Trustee Company Boards as an Independent Trustee Director.

Bio for Laiman Tang

Laiman Tang has been collaborating with Roy since 2006, contributing her expertise to audits for renowned firms such as Grimshaw and Richard Rogers, as well as HMKM. Known for her meticulous and accurate work, Laiman brings extensive experience in auditing architectural firms, ensuring thorough and precise audits that meet the highest standards.

Her dedication and attention to detail make her an invaluable member of the team.

Tristan has collaborated with Roy for the past eight years, enhancing the Audit side of the business with his professional approach and enthusiasm. Having grown up in France, Tristan maintains strong international connections, enabling him to advise clients both in the UK and overseas.

His experience in Audit has emphasised the importance of providing bespoke solutions, fostering client trust, and ensuring audits are seamless and unobtrusive. Tristan’s dedication and international perspective make him a valuable asset to the team.

Saimah Begum is an Audit Senior and ACCA affiliate with extensive experience in preparing financial statements, VAT, corporation tax returns, and bookkeeping. Currently, she is responsible for conducting audits and preparing accounts for unaudited clients. Saimah’s meticulous approach and expertise ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting.

Outside of her professional life, Saimah enjoys traveling and attending concerts, adding a personal touch to her well-rounded profile.

Alfie is an Audit Senior at Zome and qualified as a chartered accountant. Currently studying for his Msc Professional Accountancy, he is responsible for conducting audits and preparing accounts for unaudited clients. Alfie’s dedication to his studies and professional responsibilities ensures accurate and thorough financial reporting.

In his free time, Alfie enjoys playing basketball and golf, as well as exploring London’s culinary scene. His commitment to both his professional development and personal interests makes him a well-rounded and dedicated team member.

Luke Shaw is an Audit Senior at Zome, currently studying to become a chartered accountant. He is responsible for conducting audits and preparing accounts for unaudited clients. Luke’s dedication to his studies and professional responsibilities ensures accurate and thorough financial reporting.
